1. Agreement

By creating an account on ZapMenu, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, do not use the service.

2. The Service

ZapMenu provides digital menu hosting for restaurants. The service includes:

  • A mobile-friendly menu page at zapmenu.in/your-restaurant
  • A dashboard to manage menu data
  • A QR code for customer access
  • Theme customization and font options (plan dependent)

3. Your Account

  • You must provide accurate information
  • You are responsible for securing your login credentials
  • One account may manage multiple restaurants
  • You must be 18 years or older
  • Business users must have authority to bind their organization

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use ZapMenu to:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent menu information
  • Upload illegal content or content you do not have rights to publish
  • Attempt to hack, scrape, or damage the platform
  • Impersonate another restaurant or business
  • Violate applicable Indian law or regulations

5. Subscriptions And Payment

  • Plans: Basic (INR 199/month), Pro (INR 399/month), Growth (coming soon)
  • Free trial: 7 days on the first restaurant only, including Pro-level access
  • Billing: monthly or annual, processed through Razorpay
  • Annual plans: billed once per year, non-refundable after 7 days
  • Monthly plans: cancel anytime, access stays active until period end
  • Price changes: at least 30 days advance notice
  • Failed payments: 3 retries over 7 days, then suspension with a 3-day grace period

6. Cancellation

  • Cancel anytime from Settings -> Billing
  • Access continues until the paid period ends
  • No pro-rata refunds for mid-cycle cancellations

7. Account Deletion

You may delete your account from Settings -> Account -> Delete Account. This action will:

  • Immediately make menu pages inaccessible
  • Cancel active subscriptions
  • Delete account data within 30 days
  • Be irreversible

8. Our Responsibilities

We commit to:

  • 99% uptime target, excluding scheduled maintenance
  • 24 hours notice for planned downtime, where feasible
  • Support response within 24 hours on business days
  • Reasonable security controls for stored data

We are not responsible for:

  • Revenue loss due to temporary outages
  • Customer disputes related to restaurant operations or food quality
  • Third-party outages from providers such as Razorpay or Twilio

9. Intellectual Property

  • Your restaurant name, logo, and menu content remain your property
  • You grant ZapMenu a limited license to display your content for service delivery
  • ZapMenu brand assets and platform code remain our property
  • You may not use ZapMenu branding without permission

10. Termination By Us

We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Violating these Terms
  • Non-payment after grace period
  • Fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Extended inactivity (12+ months with no active subscription)

Except in serious misuse cases, we notify you by email before termination.

11. Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by Indian law:

  • Total liability is limited to the amount paid in the 3 months before the claim
  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in [Your city, e.g. Tanuku], Andhra Pradesh.
